Document delivery
John S. Bailey Library patrons may request periodical articles not available at DEREE to be sent from other libraries through intrer-library loan (ILL).
Students and alumni may request copies of articles from journals held at Pierce College Library. Articles may be delivered by e-mail or in hard copy. There is no charge for articles delivered by e-mail. There is a €0.05 charge per page for articles delivered in hard copy.
Articles not available at DEREE may be ordered from another library in Greece through the National Documentation Center (EKT). Prices for these articles are determined by EKT and are subject to change.
Articles may also be ordered from ScienceDirect. There is a charge of approximately €22.00 per article.
All ILL requests are handled at the Circulation Desk. It may take up to four days for these requests to be processed and for documents to be delivered.
Faculty, administration, staff
Faculty, administration and staff may request copies of articles from journals held at Pierce College Library.
Articles not available at DEREE may be ordered through the National Documentation Center (EKT), ScienceDirect or the British Library.
John S. Bailey Library currently runs a pilot program through which faculty, administration and staff may request to borrow books from the British Library. There is a maximum of 2 requests at a time.
All ILL requests are handled at the Circulation Desk. It may take up to four days for them to be processed and for documents to be delivered. Items are delivered to faculty, administration and staff free of charge.
