Do I have an e-mail account?

Yes. Each student has his/her own e-mail account as soon as s/he becomes a student at our College. Acg.edu is one of the means of communication between students and the College. Students are advised to check their acg.edu account at least once a week. For information on how to activate their accounts, students should contact a lab assistant at the computer labs via telephone: +30 210 6009800 ext 1007, 1166 or in person. They can also contact the IRM helpdesk via telephone: +30 210 6009800 ext 1356 or e-mail: helpdesk@acg.edu . They can also ask for their username and password at the Student Success Center (SSC) via e-mail: ssc@acg.edu  or in person.

What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is an e-Education platform (LMS Learning Management System) designed to enable educational innovations everywhere by connecting people, students and faculty members, and technology.

How can I access the Blackboard?

Blackboard account operates using a Username and a Password. For more information please contact SSC.

What is myACG portal?

Students register for courses online, view their grades, CI, credits, schedule of courses and much more through their myACG personal account.

How can I access myACG portal?

3.30-3.49 - Cum Laude
3.50-3.69 - Magna Cum Laude
3.70-4.00 - Summa Cum Laude

I need a tutor/assistance. Where can I find someone?

Student Academic Services (SAS) provides academic support for all students through:

Assistance with any academic task related to reading, writing, or presentations in all disciplines, offering support and encouragement and helping you become critical thinkers and insightful readers.

Enhancement of skills and knowledge, helping you become a self-reliant and independent learner and enabling you to obtain higher grades.

Reinforcement of skills through workshops in topics such as: study methods, exam preparation, note-taking or reading strategies.

What is probation?

What is accreditation?

Accreditation is an official stamp of approval for the level of perfo­rmance, integrity, solve­ncy, and quality of an academic institution and its programs. The American College of Greece is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which grants the College's degrees international recognition and its graduates the right to continue their studies or transfer to any other accredited university or college abroad.

Is attendance mandatory? 

Yes, attendance is mandatory. Regardless of completed coursework, students who, for whatever reasons, have a total of 9 absences in a Monday - Wednesday - Friday class or a total of 6 absences in a Monday - Wednesday, Tuesday - Thursday, or Friday - Saturday class (unless otherwise specified by  the instructor) will be required to withdraw from the course. Please note that it is in the instructor's discretion to set different rules concerning his/her class.
