"Modern, just like ancient Greece, has unique importance for everyone who is trying to find himself."

Friendship Tour
The global perspective on education that inspired the founding of The American College of Greece is relevant today more than ever. The year 2010 marks the 135th Anniversary of the College and the launch of an exciting new chapter of educational cooperation between the United States, Greece and the wider world.
Accordingly, the College has been holding a series of Friendship Tour events in American and European cities to introduce people to its mission and programs. The tour was launched in Boston in October 2009, familiarizing opinion leaders, academics, philhellenes and friends of the College through a comprehensive exhibition of the College’s legacy from the ACG archives. Presentations by President Horner and other administrators have demonstrated how the College continues to foster intellectual inquiry, a spirit of global citizenship, and principled leadership to inspire future generations of graduates.
