Conglomerate Partners with ACG to Offer Unique Opportunities to Top Students
Libra Group launches International Internship Program at ACG

The Libra Group, a privately owned global conglomerate, and The American College of Greece (ACG) have launched an International Internship Program that will benefit up to 10 DEREE students per year who have achieved an academic record of excellence. Initially ten DEREE - ACG students will participate in an ACG-coordinated study abroad program in either the U.S. or Europe, and will serve an internship with one of Libra’s many subsidiaries around the world. Students from the Northern Peloponnese regions of Aigialeia and Kalavryta are the primary beneficiaries of a new scholarship program at DEREE – The American College of Greece that will provide full tuition scholarships for qualified students, financed through a generous gift by prominent Greek business woman Mrs. Ioanna Arvanitis.

Ourania Veneti graduated from PIERCE-The American College of Greece in 1945, and for decades she had no contact with the school. Following 15 years of study and work in the U.S., she returned to Greece in 1964 where the requirements of everyday life, kept a visit to her alma mater in the vague sphere of future plans.
