Libra Internship

Libra Internship Program

The Libra Group (www.libra.com), a privately owned global conglomerate, seeks DEREE undergraduate students for the Libra Study Abroad/Internship Program to be run in cooperation with The American College of Greece.  The program selects DEREE students to study abroad at a university in the US or Europe and then intern with Libra Group or its subsidiaries around the world.  The Libra Internship Program is a first-of-its-kind combined study abroad/internship program in Greece designed exclusively for DEREE undergraduate students.

The Libra Group in collaboration with The American College of Greece is seeking DEREE undergraduate students with a good record of academic achievement, demonstrated personal motivation and a keen interest in a combined study abroad/international internship experience.

The internship program will match DEREE undergraduate students with Libra Group businesses with one of its diverse industries, such as shipping, aviation, hotel management, real estate or energy renewal at one of the Libra Group’s 18 key international locations, which include New York, Miami, London, Athens, Beijing and Buenos Aires.  The study abroad semester program will include paid university housing and meal plan, and the internships will include paid transportation and living expenses for selected students.

The Program’s threefold purpose is to advance DEREE college students’ preparation for the modern workforce, provide a broad global business perspective to be shared with DEREE classmates and influence the future of Greece and the Greek economy.  In turn, the Libra Group will be provided with a group of talented students to assist with relevant projects at its various companies.
