Discover DEREE Day Attracts 400 Students and their Families
 
Over 400 prospective students with their family or friends attended Discover DEREE Day (DDD) held at the Aghia Paraskevi campus on June 30. It was the largest DDD event in the College’s history.
 
Participants were able to attend a selection of classes and experience first-hand what makes studying at DEREE-The American College of Greece so unique, as well as explore the beautiful ACG campus and facilities through guided tours.
 
DEREE Career Services staff introduced the various programs provided DEREE students and alumni which afford them a competitive advatange in job search and training. The college’s Study Abroad Office described the unique opportunities DEREE students have to join study abroad programs at DEREE partner universities with the goal of studying or working in a variety of global destinations for a semester.
 
Members of the faculty representing each of the 21 undergraduate majors were available to answer in-depth questions regarding respective curriculums, while Admissions staff fielded questions related to the admissions process.The day concluded with an American-style BBQ, and lots of socializing with DEREE students, faculty and staff.
 
This DDD kicked off the first of a sequence of similar events to be hosted throughout the upcoming academic year.Discover DEREE Days are scheduled for late August and early October.  More details will be posted on our website www.acg.edu.
