Since 1981, DEREE has been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which accredits universities such as Harvard, Yale, Brown and many other outstanding institutions. In addition, in July of 2010, DEREE was granted a license from the Greek Ministry of Education and given the status of a Center for Post-Lyceum Studies.
