DEREE is very affordable! And you may find that some of your current financial aid is portable, even further lowering the cost of your study abroad experience.

Study Abroad Fee

 Fall Semester 2011  7,500 Euros
 Winter Session 2012  3,000 Euros
 Spring Session 2012  7,500 Euros
 Summer Session 2012  3,000 Euros

 

What’s Included:

Tuition
Our comprehensive fee includes up to 15 credit hours of tuition for spring and fall semesters or six credit hours for winter and summer sessions.

Housing
You will live in beautiful, spacious, fully furnished and fully equipped apartments in the leafy suburb of Aghia Paraskevi, within walking distance of the College.

Excursions
For spring and fall semesters, three excursions to historical and adventurous Greek sites are featured – including one to a Greek island! For winter and summer sessions, one excursion is included.

Visa Assistance
The Study Abroad Office has a visa officer who will work with you to gather the required documents. Our officer will then obtain a visa pre-approval for you to take to a local Greek Consulate to pick up your visa.

Airport Pick-up
You won’t have to worry about finding your way when you arrive, as we offer airport pick-up upon request on move-in days.

Complimentary Laundry Facilities
Free laundry facilities are available on the premises in our student housing.

Olympic-quality Athletic Facilities
As the official training site of the 2004 U.S. Olympic team, our campus offers you a truly Olympic-quality fitness center, pool, track, soccer field and more – all with breathtaking views of Athens! In addition, a well-equipped fitness center is located in the student housing facility.

Internet Access
Wireless and wired internet access is available in student housing and on campus – free of charge.

Official Transcript
We’ll provide you with an official transcript shortly after the conclusion of the semester.

The study abroad fee does not include:

  • Food (However, we do provide dishes, pots and pans, and silverware)
  • Student visa fee (Required if a student plans on staying longer than 90 days)
  • Housing deposit (A 250 euro fee, refundable if there is no damage to the student housing facility)
  • Books (Average cost is approximately 300 euros per semester)
  • Spending money (We recommend $2500 per semester for daily expenses, including meals, transportation, entertainment and incidentals)
