Career Advising: One2One appointments

Stop by Career Services or give us a call to schedule your One2One individual 30min advising appointment to talk about career path planning, writing a resume, job search, interview preparation, interview techniques, hints and tips. Appointments are subject to availability. We are working with you by exploring the issues you have, developing the appropriate strategies and an action plan.

Graduate Studies Advising: One2One appointments

Are you thinking about going to grad school? Start by scheduling an appointment with a Career Advisor to explore possible topics and locations. Once you have decided the what and where, your Career Advisor will also guide you through your grad school search, the application process and writing your winning personal statement.

Choosing a Major

If you are undecided about your major or are thinking of adding a second major to your degree, schedule a half-hour session to take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator online , an internationally recognized self-report test that helps identify strengths and personality preferences, and then meet with a career advisor to discuss the results and apply them toward selecting your major!

Eligibility: The One2One appointments service is available to Undergraduate and Graduate students of DEREE

Cancellations and missed appointments: We understand any unforeseen situation that may arise and can cause you to run late. If you believe that you will be late over 10 minutes for your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible, so as to re-book your appointment.

What to bring with you:  Your resume in an electronic format, according to the cv template  of  the college -you can find it in the blackboard, under the DC Students Services.

Career Fair

The largest recruiting annual event of the College, where companies come and conduct interviews on-site, so as to hire according to their current and future job openings. For 2012 it will be held in September -the exact date and participation arrangements will be announced in the coming spring.

Connection with the Market

There are various activities and events which give the students the opportunity to connect with the market, such as company presentations, mock-interviews on campus, shadow manager program, and placement services program.
