Expansive Selection of Academic Programs
DEREE offers 21 majors and 32 minors in business administration and the liberal arts. In addition, DEREE’s strong core curriculum serves as an educational foundation for any career. Through this core, students explore socially significant issues and develop strong communication and computer skills.

Outstanding Faculty
DEREE faculty hold graduate degrees from prestigious universities in the U.S., UK, and many other countries. Our faculty connect theory to practice, which allows students to gain valuable, hands-on experience. They encourage the active exchange of ideas in the spirit of the Socratic tradition, helping students develop excellent thinking and communication skills.  Classes are small - many with just 15 to 20 students – allowing our professors get to know and guide students as individuals.

Comprehensive Support Services
At DEREE, students have the advantage of one of top college libraries in Europe with a dedicated staff who assist students with research for class projects; The Writing Center where students receive assistance writing papers; and a Peer Tutoring Center for extra help outside the classroom. The Student Success Center serves as a focal point for student services, offering academic advising, registration assistance and student activity programming.

U.S. Accredited
DEREE is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the oldest and largest accrediting organization in the United States, which currently recognizes only six overseas higher education institutions. In 1981, DEREE became the first overseas higher education institution to be accredited by NEASC. This was an historic achievement, which established the distinction of DEREE amongst its peers.  NEASC accreditation is particularly important when students wish to easily transfer credits or pursue graduate studies in the United States.

E.U. Validation
In 2010, DEREE-ACG entered into a partnership with the Open University of the U.K., the largest university in Europe, for the purpose of program validation. All twenty-eight undergraduate programs offered at DEREE-ACG are validated by The Open University, UK (www.open.ac.uk/validate).

Because of the solid education foundation and superior English and technology skills students receive in the classroom, DEREE graduates have a strong track record of success finding employment and building successful careers.

Inspired and guided by DEREE faculty, many students also go on to graduate school at some of the best universities in the world. DEREE graduates report receiving scholarships and fellowships at universities such as Harvard, Yale and Oxford.
